Hey there music lovers!
I am thrilled to announce the release of my very first single as NTRIK! It has been a long time coming, let me tell you! But 2024 is the year for new music from me.
This track is a culmination of my passion for modern House music, sprinkled with heavy inspiration from the glitzy Disco era of the late 70s and early 80s. But what makes this release even more special? Let me paint a bit of a picture, taking you from the humble setting of a car park in Coventry to the global stage of streaming platforms.
A backpack with a laptop, a tiny MIDI keyboard, a bag of peanut M&Ms for sustenance (because obviously!), and me, parked at the serene Brandon Marsh nature reserve in Coventry trying not to make eye contact with anyone walking past.
It might not sound like your typical studio setup, but that’s precisely where the magic happened. Surrounded by nature’s symphony, I found my creativity and embarked on crafting what would become my debut single.
But wait, it gets better! I didn’t just create the music; I documented the entire process for a YouTube video. From setting up my impromptu studio in the car to the infectious beats taking shape, every moment is captured (apart from when all my equipment overheated and stopped working, but of course that was going to happen!)
Here’s the thing: you don’t need fancy equipment or a state-of-the-art music studio with the latest gear to create music that moves souls. All you need is passion, creativity, and a willingness to think outside the box… or car, in this case.
Limitation breeds creativity. And this video proves that.
